
ABOUT
Dominic began his cello studies with John Chillingworth before completing his Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music studying with Danish cellist Jakob Kullberg.
Dominic has given concerto performances with ensembles in the Suffolk/North Essex area, playing Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1 with St. Botolph's Orchestra and Lavenham Sinfonia, and more recently performing Schumann Cello Concerto with Colne Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also participated in masterclasses with Andrzej Bauer and Anja Lechner.
As an orchestral musician, Dominic has performed in various ensembles including the RCM Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras, London Film Music Orchestra, Prometheus Orchestra, London Mahler Orchestra, and side-by-side projects with the London Symphony Orchestra. He has been fortunate to have played in concerts under the baton of Sir Antonio Pappano, Jac Van Steen, Jonathan Lo, and Daniel Capps.
Additionally, Dominic is in demand as a Musical theatre pit musician with professional credits including: Cellist and Cover Conductor: Phantom of the Opera (International Tour), The Rink (Southwark Playhouse), 35mm (The Other Palace), Songs for a New World (Dixon Studio, Southend) as well as Amateur-Dramatic productions of: West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Betty Blue Eyes, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Crazy for You, Les Miserables, Urinetown (Double Bass), The Lion King (Bass Guitar), Footloose (Guitar 2), Mamma Mia (Guitar 2).
He is also a keen conductor having previously held the role of Assistant Conductor for King’s College London Symphony Orchestra.

Dominic has now recently relocated to Surry Hills, Sydney with his partner Rachel. Here they perform as the Stockwell Duo, providing music for Weddings, Corporate Events, and Live Music nights.
